Dear Mr. Simmons:

I write to say THANK YOU for the time you have spent with CADS . My hat is
off to you, Mr. Simmons, I especially appreciate your compassionate help
with motivating our rural partners. On behalf of my colleagues in CADS, we
very well appreciate all the hours you poured into volunteering with CADS,
and we are not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have
shown toward our rural partners, in that you have attended to them.

Your devotion and dedication to CADS will be well remembered. One good thing
about your volunteering in Sierra Leone at such a time when media houses are
spewing out negative reporting, blowing out of proportions the insecurity of
Sierra Leone, you will be a testimony to the world that Sierra Leone is
still a nation of human beings, and the country is working hard to exist in
peace.

One final word of gratitude. A very personal word of thanks from me. I
consider you my friend, because I am a companion of all who appreciate CADS Sierra Leone, and of those who work hard to put many good hours into this effort of making our CADS ideas a reality. Thanks so much.

Mr. Simmons, you must be a person who cares for humanity, or you wouldn't be
in Sierra Leone for three months motivating our rural partners. You must be
a person who wants to help the disadvantaged in the third world, or you
wouldn't have volunteered with CADS. I applaud your compassionate resolve to
help CADS, and our people. I commend your desire to get involved with what
we are doing. You are therefore my friend. And for you my friend, I pray for
your safe return to Wisconsin, USA.

I hope you learnt a lot through your volunteering schedule.

And, Mr. Simmons, as you have seen for yourself, our constraints are many.
We are concerned about helping our compatriots mired in poverty. But we
simply lack the logistics to prove the viability of our program objectives.
So, you as a friend and partner of CADS now, we ask that you continue to put
many more good hours to help us raise the funds indispensable to the
successful implementation of our program objectives.

Essentially, I only hope we will succeed to raise funds for the postponed
First National Conference on Personal Values so that come December, 2002 we
look forward to having you again as a most honored guest of CADS Sierra Leone.

Again, THANK YOU, Mr. Simmons! And I wish you BON VOYAGE!

For Peace and Humanity!

Volunteers for Humanity fosters the great desire to learn more about Sierra Leone, and her culture, with a serious intent to discover her way of life. The project builds personal and institutional relationships. It breaks barriers, promotes dialogue and learning, and enhances mutual understanding between Sierra Leone and the people of other countries.
