Farmers Our participating communal farmers own extensive farm lands in Sierra Leone and are seeking investors to establish mechanized agricultural farm to produce tropical products for export. Relationship Required: Joint venture in mechanized agricultural production for the establishment of Agro-Allied Industry to process farm products where possible, e.g. cultivation of sesame seeds for export, ostrich farming and breeding for the exportation of its products e.g the meat, oil, skin, etc, and milling and packing of cereals into various forms. Location of Farmland and Size: At Koya Rural District with a river cutting across the farmland, and possibility of irrigation during dry season. Total size of land with a lease of 99 years is 617.55 hectares. Various types of crops that can be grown on the farm include mangoes, ginger, soyabeans, cassava, shea butter trees, cut roses/flowers in glass houses, rice, groundnuts, sorghum, sesame seeds, cow pea, cashew, maize, avocado, papaya, yams, millet, guinea corn. Ostrich farming for meat and exportation of its products. Orchard can also be an element of extensive agricultural activity on the farm, poultry and animal husbandry can also be established.
